課程概述

一般來說,博物館是一個受歡迎的學習場所,但涉及原住民人體遺骸或物件典藏的民族學或綜合性的博物館,則在全球原住民族意識漸強的時代面臨諸多批判挑戰。博物館的定位與管理也因應而開始轉變。 

課程目標
本課程以墾拓社會如美、加、澳、紐與台灣的博物館發展為主,討論其中博物館與原住民族在典藏物件上,觀念與相應作法的異同以及近年的折衝與轉變。 
課程要求
上課方式:
上課前務必先閱讀指定的材料,上課時先由同學扼要報告,教師講課,之後討論。期中有一次博物館參訪,大學部同學需在參訪後提出參訪觀察。全學期共有兩次假日(中秋節與校慶)。

評分方法:
讀書評論   20% (5% x 4)
博物館參訪觀察 10% (大學部)
報告 70% (大學部); 80% (研究所)

學期成績以報告為主,為讓報告順利開展,同學將逐步以四個主題完成讀書評論。若安排得當,將有助於學期報告。

讀書評論 
20% 
本課程期待選課學生可以掌握每一主題的重要性及相關的不同觀點,並能區別不同觀點之論述。同學需完成四篇評論,內容可以有少部份的文章的扼要概述,但以議題的評論為主。字數不超過1,500字。同學可從學期中的課堂閱讀材料挑選所關注的四個主題完成。繳交時間訂定為(10/4, 11/1, 11/29, 12/20),請上傳ceiba。每篇占5%,共20%。
